We Believe...

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and that its message about Jesus, God's Son, offers hope both to the individual and society as a whole. We identify with Christians everywhere. We hold the Apostles Creed as central, with other historic documents, to our knowledge and faith. Our belief is summed up in the Reformed Confessions arising from the times of Martin Luther and John Calvin and the great Reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. "The Righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. We acknowledge our mission in the slogan 'Go for Growth' and accept that identifying areas of growth represents a personal challenge. We see this on a singular and congregational level. Old and familiar patterns for worship are not always understood, especially by new people making their presence felt in the church.

However, we believe that God shows His leading by faith, grace and unity. It is our hope to see many more friends in the growing congregation come to a knowledge of repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Saviour and Lord.

We are blessed to have a pastor who cares, and is conscious of the need for the Word to be spread. We have a team of leaders that are serious about growth in every aspect of our church's activity.

Our focus on worship is - Jesus - the Saviour, Redeemer and Friend. We look to Him for every blessing in the time spent praising Him and seeking His face in understanding and faith in every avenue of our life.
